Sunset GT Adds Dash of Fall Color to Southern California

Monthly cars and coffee event on L.A.’s world-famous Sunset Strip pulls out all the stops to celebrate Italy’s fastest and finest machines.

November 11 in Los Angeles was another gorgeous fall afternoon and the perfect setting for the Sunset Strip’s latest Sunset GT coffee and cars event, which was dubbed the “Italian Takeover Edition.” In Southern California, we don’t get to see the leaves change color on the palm trees, but Sunset GT more than made up for that by featuring a stunning array of vibrantly-colored Italian sports and luxury cars.

Sunset GT, which happens on the second Sunday of every month, drew another good-size crowd of appreciative auto enthusiasts, who were wowed by an eclectic display of automobiles that ran the gamut from rare race cars to exotic daily drivers — well, that’s if you’re daily driving in Beverly Hills or Bel-Air.

The key aspect that most of these enviable cars had was a bold choice of exterior colors, which covered every hue of the color chart, from purple Bentleys to lime-green Lamborghinis. Granted, these world-class vehicles are already standout masterpieces, but add in a splash of loud color and these machines exude an added layer of awesomeness.
