Ringbrothers’ DeTomaso Pantera Is Artwork on Wheels

The Ringbrothers have proven to be masterful with the art of crafting metal. The original Ghia-designed Pantera is nothing short of stunning to look at. However, this one was re-imagined by Ringbrothers, with cooperation from Nike, and together they wrought a modern take on the iconic Italian.

The American heartbeat remains, though, with an LS3 providing 600 horsepower worth of grunt to the back wheels. Those numbers tell you that this is no ordinary LS3. Just like the rest of the car, the engine is a masterpiece as well. A Holley EFI intake manifold is used, along with headers and Holley’s EFI system managing the air and fuel.

The most amazing part about this car is how it actually came to be in the first place. Cheryl Brickle is the widowed wife to Randy Brickle, who had unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer. After his passing, Cheryl set out to find a restoration outlet that could complete her husband’s dream car: his Pantera. Ringbrothers were ultimately chosen, but they also had an interesting turn of events.

Nike’s cooperation stemmed from a meeting that happened in 2012, and their work on the interior of this Pantera is just as striking as the lines on the outside. A two-tone interior strikes a contrast between the black passenger side and the light tan materials used on the driver’s side. In all, it makes for a visually stunning package.
