Radical Sportscars sells stake to private consortium of private investors

Radical Sportscars, the creators of the manic Radical SR3 and SR8, has sold a minority stake to a consortium of private investors.

While the identity of the investors wasn’t disclosed, finance company Cavendish Corporate did say that they included “a private family office and an industry expert.”

Valued by Cavendish at a cool £30 million, the company produces over 230 cars every year, making it the second largest manufacturer (by volume) of purpose-built racing cars, just behind Porsche.

Currently the Radical range comprises the SR series, including the SR3, SR4 and SR8, as well as the entry level PR6.
