Several spectacular vehicles have been vying for our attention, so when it came to the tallying up the nominees for Teamspeed.com’s Car of the Year, we’ve had a harder job than ever. Sending our contributors across the length and breadth of the globe, we made sure that the cream of the crop had been represented.

Cars like the physics-bending McLaren MP4-12C, the ridiculously quick Lamborghini Aventador, the intoxicating Ferrari 458 Spider and the brutal Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupé Black Series headed a field of extremely worthy contenders. But it was your vote which would ultimately decide the winner. Beating off the above cars is no mean feat, so for Teamspeed’s community to have rallied to decide one car by a distinct majority means this car is truly worthy.
