Petersen Museum Reopens with New Schedule, March 25

Petersen Automotive Museum has confirmed that it will practice social distancing vigilantly, and it will strictly comply with all safety protocols, as it opens its doors to the general public.

With the ongoing pandemic, we have all had to make major adjustments to our lifestyle. In the fallout of COVID-19, the automotive industry and many other institutions are trying to resume operations. Petersen Automotive Museum is one such establishment that is revered by people all over the world.

The famous Los Angeles attraction is a Mecca for every automotive enthusiast. Like many other attractions, the museum closed its doors to the public, but now Petersen Automotive museum is once again open to visitors. The establishment has confirmed that it will practice social distancing vigilantly, and it will strictly comply with all safety protocols.

In addition to the protocols set by the county of Los Angeles and the state of California, the museum will also abide by all guidelines laid down by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In its efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19, the museum has enforced a policy that makes it mandatory for all visitors and staff members to wear “protective face coverings.” For all verified first responders and front-line workers, Petersen is offering complimentary admission, which also extends to up to three family members.

“We are excited to welcome visitors back to the museum in a safe and responsible manner,” said Petersen Automotive Museum Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “We cannot thank the healthcare personnel and first responders enough for everything they have done for our community. We hope this small token of our appreciation signals to them how grateful we are to them and their families.”

As a gesture of gratitude, the museum will honor his promotion for the rest of the year. Start March 25th, 2021, Petersen Automotive Museum will be open to the general public, and there will be new vehicles and new exhibits. That is not all that has changed because the museum also has new timings.

Guests can now visit the establishment “Wednesday through Sunday” between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Petersen will also require everyone on the premises to practice social distancing and maintain six feet of distance, at least. The guidelines will be enforced with “designated entrance and exit signs,” and every exhibit will also get its designated navigation path.

Some exhibits, however, will remain closed, including the Discovery Center and Forza racing simulators. Each floor will have hand sanitizing stations, and Petersen museum has also announced that the property will be decontaminated regularly. Customers are required to purchase tickets online via the official Petersen website. Customers are required to pre-book their tickets, and health care workers and first responders will have to show a “professional verification” hard copy at the check-in.
