Nissan unveils GT-R VVIP for the Middle East

Nissan has unveiled an ultra-exclusive edition of its supercar killer, with the announcement of the GT-R VVIP, designed exclusively for the Middle East.

Being shown for the first time at Big Boys Toys 2012 held from February 9th to 11th, the GT-R VVIP is distinguished from your garden-variety GT-R by a few exclusive accents.

First up is a carbon-fibre rear wing. While that may not seem that special, it’s the 24-carat gold plating on the grille that gives the game away. Also gold plated are aspect panels and there are VVIP badges as well.

Inside, the Bose sound system is individually tailored to suit the car’s owner, by being tuned according to their driving position.

There are 12 interior colour choices as well as special leather accents and quilted seating. Nissan Middle East tells us that this edition of the GT-R has been ‘exclusively created by Takumi, or “master with greatest skills.” ‘

No prices were given, but you can expect a substantial premium over the regular GT-R.
