Next-Gen Ferrari California Caught on Film

Spotted testing at the famous Fiorano test grounds, the new Ferrari California should feature a significant bump in horsepower with the aid of turbocharging. It’s been quite some time since we first spotted a test mule for the next-gen Ferrari California, in fact about a year and a half, and the turbo style hood scoops led us to believe the new Cali will be featuring a twin-turbo power-plant.

Today member Marchettino brings us the latest version of this proto-type on film, as he was stealthy located at the Fiorano test track, where we can vaguely make out the sounds of turbo power under a very unrestricted test exhaust note. A twin-turbo V8 should produce at minimum 550hp, a nice bump compared to the current 2013 California’s direct-injected 4.3-liter V8 that makes 490hp.
