Mullin Auto Museum Bringing Rare Classics to Monterey Car Week 2021

A 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic is just one of many featured cars at this first-of-its-kind exhibition.

The Mullin Automotive Museum announced that it will exhibit seven classic vehicles at various events during Monterey Car Week this August. Guests attending the week of automotive events will have an opportunity to see these rare, prized classics. Featured rides including a 1974 Citroën SM Injection, 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic and 1935 Voisin Type C25 Aerodyne.

“To showcase the best of the Mullin Automotive Museum collection, we’re exhibiting some of the finest and most unique automobiles at Monterey this year,” said founder and CEO Peter Mullin. “Returning to Monterey Car Week will feel so good after a year of no events. These Concours shows are the perfect opportunity to share the beauty and power of these exquisite machines with the enthusiast community.”

1974 Citroen SM Injection
The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering – Aug. 13, 2021

A 1974 Citroën SM Injection will be displayed on the rolling grasses of Quail Lodge & Golf Club at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. This high-performance coupé was produced from 1970 to 1975. The SM demonstrated how much power and performance could be accommodated in a front-wheel-drive car. This model introduced a new type of variable-assist power steering that spread throughout the vehicle population. The car provided a combination of comfort, sharp handling and high performance not available in any other car at the time.

1935 Voisin Type C25 Aerodyne

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance – August 15, 2021

At the world’s foremost concours event, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, five vehicles from the Mullin collection will be on display.

The 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic and 1935 Voisin Type C25 Aerodyne will be included in a special exhibition of “Best of Show” winners to celebrate the event’s 70th anniversary. The Atlantic most recently earned The Peninsula Classics “Best of the Best” award while the Aerodyne previously won “Best of Show” at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Three Delages from the Mullin will be featured in an exclusive Delage company exhibit with CEO Laurent Tapie: 1927 Delage ERA, 1937 Delage D8 and 1946 Delage D6.
