McLaren 720S Runs Over Motorcyclist and Flees the Scene (Video)

Video shows a knocked-over motorcycle and a fleeing McLaren. But, sources say, the story is much, much different.

We live in an era when people would rather pull out their smartphones to record a bus caught on fire than help passengers escape to safety. Whether something similar happened on this video by Ruben, we don’t know, but there are plenty of bystanders doing their fair share of “smartphone-policing.”

At first glance, it’s easy to recognize the upward opening doors of the McLaren 720S. Look over to the left and you’ll notice someone picking up a motorcycle off the ground. Look ahead and you’ll notice another motorcycle on the ground in front of the British supercar, just as a Lamborghini pulls away from a stop light. Lastly, the roadway looks quite wet, as if a storm had recently passed by the area.

Anyway you look at things, they can’t amount to anything good. According to several articles making their rounds on the internet, the McLaren driver is quickly blamed for smashing into the motorcyclists and fleeing the scene when confronted.

Upon reading several comments from people who attended the Corsa Rally (where the McLaren had recently departed), the motorcyclist had boxed in the McLaren and were doing burnouts around it. According to GTR vs. The World, the driver attempted to confront the rider and forgot to apply the parking brake, causing the McLaren to tap the motorcycle.

After that, all hell broke loose. According to other witnesses, the driver left the scene and drove to a gas station where she contacted the police.
