Maserati Levante ONE OF ONE

Four famous locales in Milan recently played host to an exclusive outing centered around Maserati’s customization options.

Milan, Italy, is a lot of things to a lot of people. For everyone in the fashion industry, it’s the biannual Milan Fashion Week. Soccer fanatics see the Italian alpha city as the home of A.C. Milan and F.C. Internazionale. Art and architecture lovers have plenty of museums and buildings to gaze upon.

And of course, design buffs have Milan International Design Week, which took place from April 8 through 14 and is where Maserati revealed its exclusive “Maserati Crafting Italian Experiences” program, centered around the automaker’s customization options for its line of luxury vehicles.

Giorgetti Atelier - Maserati Crafting Italian Experiences

The first stop was at Milan’s Brera design district, where design week guests viewed the custom Levante ONE OF ONE by Allegra Antinori and Centro Stile Maserati, which made its debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The brilliant green hue was inspired by the hills of Tuscany, and the seats have 3D-effect button-tufted embroidery.

De Castelli - Maserati Crafting Italian Experiences

The next two stops were at the De Castelli flagship store in the San Babila district, and the Giorgetti Atelier woodworking workshop in Porta Venezia. The two firms are known for their excellent work in metal and wood, and are two more pieces to Maserati’s custom ambitions. For De Castelli, that means sophisticated pieces, like the dashboard and pedals, that embrace the automaker’s “metal poetry” ethos, while Giorgetti’s woodcraft gives the Quattroporte a certain elegance.

Ermenegildo Zegna - Maserati Crafting Italian Experiences

The final two stops of the Maserati Crafting Italian Experiences were at the Concept Store of Alcantara in Pietro Verri, and Boutique Ermenegildo Zegna in Via Montenapoleone 27/E. The former hosted an installation showing how Maserati uses Alcantara in its vehicles, while the latter exhibited the Maserati Capsule Collection for Spring-Summer 2019, a whole assortment of leather goods made with Zenga’s special-woven nappa leather.
