Speed demon is selling one of his prized supercars during Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, March 8 and 9.

Mario Andretti is one of the most successful motorsport drivers of all time, having won the 1978 Formula One world championship, four IndyCar titles and dozens of other races across numerous different formats, including NASCAR and World Sportscar Championship.

Needless to say, Andretti is also quite passionate about road-going cars. Indeed, he has owned numerous Ferraris and Lamborghinis, including a 1991 Lamborghini Diablo, which is about to go under the hammer at the upcoming RM Sotheby’s Auction, which will take place during the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, on March 8 and 9, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Andretti’s Diablo has covered over 22,000 miles and is expected to sell somewhere between $150,000-175,000. The interior of the supercar is original and unmodified (apart from a new stereo set), while the exterior was recently refinished in the original paint color. The ‘Lambo’ also underwent some major restoration and service work last year, which cost a whopping $40,000 and included a new clutch, a new starter, and rebuilt heads.
