Lamborghini Wrap Removal: More Fun than Peeling Glue

By -

What goes on, must come off: removing a vinyl wrap from a Lamborghini Aventador.

Cars are meant to be driven. True to their name, the DailyDrivenExotics YouTube channel agrees with us. While the focus of this video is on a wrap finish, the beginning is all about eye candy.

We’re treated to a trip to Newport Beach Lamborghini with Damon and Jason, where they spot a gorgeous pair of Aventadors. An Aventador S in orange is paired up with an Aventador SV in grey with orange accents. As you’ll soon see, this video is all about the orange.

There’s an even bigger surprise, though: a white LM002, the original Lamborghini 4×4. Not something we expected to see in this video, but definitely a welcome addition.

Back at the Protective Film Solutions shop, there’s a pair of Porsche Carrera GTs, and we’re treated to some footage of them driving before we get down to the nitty gritty of the video.

The whole reason we’re here is to watch the wrap get updated on the Tire Slayer, Damon’s grey and orange Lamborghini. The wrap will be updated to match the orange wheels, tying the whole package together.

Of course, to put a new wrap on, the old one has to come off, and we’re treated to footage of the wrap being slowly peeled off, bit by bit. It’s more entertaining than it should be. Underneath, the original red paint is revealed.

While most wrap videos are all about applying new wraps, but it’s surprisingly fun to watch the old wrap come off. Just like peeling off excess Elmer’s glue in grade school, it looks like a lot of fun.

We’ll have to wait to see what the new wrap will look like, but until then, Damon has the use of a McLaren 570S that shoots flames. It’s hard to complain about that.
