Laguna Seca Toasts Motorsports with New Official Cocktail
‘Corkscrew Paradise’ honors one of the most famous turns in racing and is strong enough to make you feel the buzz of racing adrenalin.
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca has announced a new signature cocktail created for the 2020 racing season. The “Corkscrew Paradise” celebrates one of the most famous turns in motorsports and reflects the natural beauty of the Monterey Peninsula.
The Corkscrew Paradise was created at Monterey’s Estéban restaurant and pairs Jalisco, Mexico-made El Jefe Tequila with the refreshing tastes of ginger ale and raspberry puree. “Incorporating house-made raspberry puree into the drink adds just the right amount of local color and flavor,” says Laguna Seca in a press statement.
Corkscrew Paradise official recipe
- 2 oz El Jefe Reposado Tequila
- 1.5 oz Fever Tree Smoky Ginger Ale
- 0.5 oz House-Made Raspberry purée
- Homemade raspberry purée: made with fresh raspberries and simple syrup.
In an 11 oz. rocks glass, pour tequila and ginger ale over ice, top with purée and stir. Garnish with a lime wheel and fresh raspberries.
The Corkscrew Paradise will on the Estéban cocktail menu from June through December, in honor of Laguna Seca’s extended racing season.
