Incredibly Detailed Supercar Scale Models Are More Than Toys

Whether it’s lack of garage space or a model not sold to the public, we can’t collect every supercar. But we can buy these.

Sadly, for most of us, there’s just no feasible way to own every supercar that we covet. Far too often, the tragic realities of life and our limited garage space render that dream dead on arrival. But if you want to expand your stable without having to commission some major construction, there is a solution. You can simply fill up a much smaller garage (room) with these intricately detailed sports car and supercar models from DNA Collectibles.

While perusing their site recently, we saw all kinds of cool stuff worthy of our precious shelf space. For starters, how about a car that you can’t feasibly own otherwise? We’re talking about the awesome Saab Aero-X concept, a beautifully designed one-off that sadly never made it to production. Thankfully, you can buy this 1/18th scale model, at the very least. And it’s even individually numbered and limited to 320 pieces.

Saab fans can also get their hands on a faithful replica of the brand’s 9-3 Turbo prototype. The real thing, chassis number 000, sits in the Trollhattan museum. But this scale model gives you the chance to own one for yourself, albeit a tiny bit smaller.

If your tastes lean more toward the German side of things, there’s also this killer Audi S4 B5 scale model. Or, for lovers of Japanese muscle and oddball rotary engines, how about a Mazda RX7 convertible recreated in 1/43 scale?

All of these scale models feature some pretty amazing detail. Which is what separates them from the average kid’s toy model you’ll find on store shelves. And they’re also just a sampling of the many fine models offered up by DNA Collectibles. Head on over here to check out their entire collection!
