Jeremy Clarkson Manhandles a Ford GT in The Grand Tour Season 2

By -

As is typical of ‘The Boys,’ a race emerges between Clarkson at the wheel of the new Ford GT, and Hammond and May in public transportation.

Let’s face it, it wouldn’t be Top Gear or The Grand Tour if it weren’t for an obnoxiously fun race of Clarkson against Hammond and May. What once was a Nissan GT-R versus Japan’s super-punctual bullet train, is now a lovely Ford GT versus NYC airport shuttles, security lines, and a commercial airplane.

Oh, but there’s one catch: Richard Hammond is “handicapped.” As a result, James May has to spend extra time catering to his needs, which in typical TV fashion are exaggerated in order to make the competition more exciting. Clarkson has to fight NYC traffic en route to Niagara Falls.

Despite the teaser being a short 40 seconds, it gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect on this episode two of season two of The Grand Tour. The episode is titled “The Falls Guys,” and is already live on Amazon Prime Video for your viewing pleasure. During the short trailer, they also show a couple of shots of the mighty Mercedes-AMG GT R, aka The Beast of the Green Hell, which we all look forward to seeing tested by Clarkson, Hammond, and May.

Despite the first season of the new show getting some heat for not living up to Top Gear’s standards, we think the boys are still as funny as ever and truly look forward to this new season.
