If you can spot supercars from a mile away and don’t mind living in the Middle East, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you.

Chances are, if you’re reading this, you probably already have a good job you enjoy. After all, that’s what help fuel our passion for supercars. But it never hurts to have an extra revenue stream, now does it? Especially when that side gig involves doing something that’s quite enjoyable. And if you don’t mind living in the Middle East, we’ve found the perfect second job for you. Luxury goods website HushHush is looking for someone to search the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for abandoned supercars that it can acquire and sell on its site.

Yes, apparently there are enough supercars sitting around collecting dust in the UAE that it requires a person to go out and find them all. Turns out, lots of folks there tend to buy high-end cars and then default on them, oftentimes even leaving the country to avoid further penalties. In the UAE, non-payment of debt is a criminal offense, in fact. This obviously creates a fantastic opportunity for a company like HushHush to swoop in and scoop them up, buying low and selling high.

Ferrari 488 Pista

The salary for this seemingly incredible job opportunity isn’t exactly rich, however. HushHush is looking to pay their supercar scout 30,000 British Pounds, which works out to around $38,000 U.S. dollars. There’s also a commission tacked on for all the supercars you manage to wrangle up. Plus added benefits including a living allowance and travel expenses. Not exactly enough money to make this a main gig, but certainly a nice side job for somebody who loves supercars.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS

So how does HushHush manage to actually procure these cars? Apparently, part of the job is to try and negotiate a purchase with the finance company. Mainly before the police impound the cars and then sell them at auction. So time is clearly of the essence. On the bright side, there are reportedly thousands of abandoned supercars in the UAE. And they aren’t exactly hard to find.

Lamborghini Huracan

It might not make anybody rich, but this job opportunity sure sounds like a fun time. Especially if you’re like us and you can spot a Lamborghini or Ferrari from a mile away. All you need is a good working knowledge of supercars and a valid license to apply. If that sounds like a dream side gig to you, you can apply for the job here!
