Florida event will feature collector car auction, meet-and-greets with auto influencers, and special spotlight on 1970 cars, Feb. 21-23.

“I’ve been in and around cars my entire life, I love them all,” says Lance Miller, who is one of the owners of Carlisle Auctions and Events. “Every now and then you see a car that really knocks your socks off, and that’s the case with this Ferrari FXX-K,” he adds, revealing the star attraction of Carlisle’s upcoming Winter AutoFest Lakeland, the annual three-day mega-auction and auto show that is set to take place next month in Florida. “I was blown away with how amazing this car looks and sounds,” he says.

Carlisle Events will have the ultra-rare Ferrari FXX-K on display throughout Winter AutoFest Lakeland, which will be happening February 21-23 at Lakeland, Florida’s Sun n’ Fun Expo Campus, where the Italian masterpiece will be on display as part of an all-new race exhibit. The FXX-K recently drew crowds at the 2019 Casa Ferrari event in Pebble Beach.

In addition to showcasing the ultra-rare Ferrari, Winter AutoFest Lakeland will include a two-day, 400-plus collector car auction, in addition to three days of showcases that include meet-and-greets with auto influencers and notables like Corvette restorer Kevin Mackay, Car Fix star Lou Santiago, and racer Herb McCandless; a special spotlight on 1970 cars; and a huge automotive flea market.

The $4 million FXX-K scheduled to appear at the Florida event is just one of 40 produced by designers Marco Fainello and Flavio Manzoni. While 40 were produced five years ago, it’s now one of only 10 known to still have its original body.

The Ferrari FXX-K is powered by a hybrid powertrain with 188 horsepower electric motor. On the gas-powered side of things, that performance jumps to 860 horsepower. There stunning Italian vehicle features four driving modes to optimize track usage, and there’s even an active aerodynamics system.

“Fortunately, a friend is generous enough to showcase the car for the car-loving guests of Winter AutoFest Lakeland so we can all enjoy it,” says Miller. “Don’t miss this amazing creation, you really need to see and hear it in person — it’s stunning.”

Tickets to Winter AutoFest Lakeland are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Auto enthusiasts wishing to show a car can register here.
