Don’t Your Kids Deserve a $50k Pint-Size Bugatti Veyron for Christmas?

It’s never too early to get your kids wrapped up in the wild world of supercars and exotics. Posters of Lamborghinis and die-cast replicas of Ferraris are a great place to start, but if you really want to push your kids into the car scene, why not get them a scaled-down Bugatti Veyron to play with?

Now I’m not talking about a Matchbox version of the world’s record-holding supercar, but rather a working, driving Veyron that is just a wee bit smaller in stature, to make it more suitable for children. I know it sounds like an insane idea, but this is something you can actually get. Right now on eBay, there is a kit car listing for a Veyron for children.

According to the posting (poorly translated from Russian via Google), this machine is all-wheel drive and features a 500cc engine with 40 horsepower. In the luxury department, you are looking at scissor-style doors, leather interior coverings, a pioneer stereo, and even an “advanced spoiler.” Top speed is listed at 55 mph.

We even found the video below of the car in action, complete with a “questionable female pickup” scene right at the two-minute mark. And even more questionable soundtrack.

If you want one of these machines, get your order in now. Build time is 3 to 4 months, and the price is a nice even $50,000.
