CMC back at work

U.K. auto restoration company gets back to work and offers discounts too classic car owners who are stuck at home.

Earlier this week, renowned U.K. auto restoration company Classic Motor Cars (CMC) went back to work and made a special offer to all classic car owners who are stuck at home and want to get their cars serviced or repaired, offering anyone who joins its free CMC Club a 12.5% discount on labor charges and 5% off parts.

“We took the responsible decision in late March to temporarily suspend all activity,” said Nigel Woodward, Managing Director of CMC. “Now we have decided to open the business in a limited way in line with government guidelines. Fifty percent of our staff have returned to work.

“Customers can rest assured that all our staff are social distancing,” he added. “We are running a strict cleaning regime in our workshops and cars are deep cleaned before being delivered back to customers.

“Many locals have been disappointed that our annual open day scheduled for the end of this month was canceled, but it was the right thing to do. ‘The Classics of the Future’ [event] will happen when the pandemic is over.”
