This BMW 745LI Limo Can Be Yours

Somewhere in the automotive world, there is a need for this car, but I’m not sure where. This 2004 BMW 745Li has surfaced in an Austin, Texas Craigslist ad, and it is a wonder to look at. Unlike the limos you’ll see in Miami or Los Angeles, this one doesn’t have giant 48-inch rims, but the color of white doesn’t exactly help it remain inconspicuous. The ad says it’ll hold you and nine of your friends, but sadly it doesn’t show any interior pictures to prove this. However, the interior was “recently remodeled,” which is a term I thought I’d only ever use for houses.

Servicing is said to be recent, which can only be a good thing, given what we know about the early versions of this body style 7-series. Priced at $28,000, the asking price is a bit of a stretch (geddit?), but I’m sure there’s a livery company somewhere that can use this kind of ride. And it sure is a peg up from the archaic Lincoln-based limos that are still seen in service. That said, it does make you wonder if the “Ultimate Driving Machine” loses any of that good road holding when the wheels are nearly twice as far apart as they should be.
