Maserati GranTurismo

The beautifully sculpted (and enduring) lines of this GranTurismo are perfectly complemented by one excellent color combination.

The Maserati GranTurismo, in its current guise, has been around since 2011. In automotive years, that’s akin to forever. Add that to the fact that the 2nd gen model is merely a refresh of the original, which debuted way back in 2007, and you might wonder what the heck Maserati is thinking. Well, they’re thinking that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Because, you see, the long-enduring GranTurismo is still one of the best looking cars on the planet.

Just take a look at this gorgeous 2014 GranTurismo we spotted over at Carlisle Auctions, for example. The stunning color combination of Softico Blue with black trim only adds to those stunning Italian lines. Whereas many modern supercars might look a little outdated in a decade or two, such is not the case with the GranTurismo. Those attractive lines look every bit as good now as they did over a decade ago.

This particular example has been well treated over the last few years, too. We couldn’t find many signs of use in any of the photos. Fitting, since there’s only 18,000 miles showing on the odometer. Black 20-inch wheels were the perfect choice here as well, only adding to the sinister look of the car. On the inside, fresh looking tan leather is nicely complimented by, you guessed it, more black trim.

If you’re looking for an Italian thoroughbred that’ll stand the test of time, you could do much worse than something like this Maserati GranTurismo. With bits of Ferrari DNA scattered throughout and covered in lines that look like they were sculpted by Michelangelo, these are (and always will be) stunning works of automotive art.
