Audi e-tron GT Concept Featured in Spiderman: Far from Home Spot
Even a superhero can’t help but be blown away by the cool e-tron GT concept.
Audi and Sony Pictures Entertainment have teamed up to release exclusive digital content for the upcoming film Spider-Man: Far From Home. In this spot, titled “Science Fair,” Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) pulls some strings to get access to the awesome e-tron GT concept.
The digital short features Parker and his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon), facing quite a tough situation: a school science fair. To save the day, and their lackluster presentation, Parker races to get his webs on the perfect scientific advancement: the all-electric Audi e-tron GT concept.
Spider-Man: Far From Home also features a fleet of cool Audi rides including the all-electric e-tron SUV, an Audi A7, and a Audi Q8.
“Teaming up with Sony Pictures to showcase the latest step in Audi’s evolution—electrification—gives us a unique opportunity to better socialize this important technology with a highly engaged audience,’’ said Loren Angelo, vice president of Marketing, Audi of America. “Peter Parker represents the continuing high-tech evolution of the Audi storyline within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
Audi has been featured in the Marvel universe extensively, and the Audi R8 V10 that belonged to Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is currently on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum for their Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy exhibit.
“Creativity and collaboration are fundamental elements and at the core of this business,” said Jeffrey Godsick, EVP of Brand Strategy and Global Partnerships for Sony Pictures. “Audi has always been a company that has emitted creativity into the business, which is evident by this great piece of content they have created for Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
Spider-Man: Far From Home opens in theaters on June 2.
