1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 Helps Fall Carlisle Auction Nab Over $5 Million
Partial proceeds from annual Pennsylvania auction help support local Salvation Army branch and animal rescue organization.
A little rain did not dampen the spirits of the bidders and spectators who gathered at Pennsylvania’s Carlisle Expo Center from Oct. 5-7 and made the Fall Carlisle auction a big hit with over $5 million in sales. Vehicles spanning over 100 years of production were on display, offering a little something for every auto enthusiast, from rare Ferraris and vintage Jaguars to beastly Ford Broncos and souped-up Chevys.
Each day of the auction offered something different, including select consignments earmarked for local charities like the Carlisle branch of the Salvation Army and Speranza Animal Rescue. Of the $5 million netted at auction, nearly $600,000 came from Fall Carlisle 2018’s top five sellers:
- 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 – $181,900
- 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod – $133,750
- 2010 Ferrari California – $100,580
- 1966 Chevrolet Corvette – $88,810
- 1967 Chevrolet Corvette – $77,575
