1963 Porsche 904/6 Carrera GTS Factory Works Protoype up for grabs at Monterey

Heading to the auction block at Monterey this year one of the ultra-rare 904/6 “Werks” or Porsche Factory Team Cars fitted with a 2.0-liter, six-cylinder engine. This particular example is most likely the very finest surviving example left in the world and her current owner took great effort to fully document and gather together an incredible array of her original assembly records, race details, period photos and correspondences, the likes of which I have never seen duplicated before.
