We are pleased to announce that pilot production has started at Fisker and we will present our first factory built production Karma at the Paris Motor Show in October.

This month we are also excited to share insight into yet another driving force in the design of your Fisker Karma. Our passion for accountable, eco-minded luxury drove us to design a breathtaking hybrid that not only delivers superior comforts but demonstrates control and handling with recognizable power.

At the heart of the Fisker Karma is the Q-DRIVE powertrain, developed by Quantum Technologies exclusively for Fisker Automotive. The Karma’s unique Q-DRIVE configuration pairs a turbocharged Eco-tec engine with a generator and a Lithium-ion battery pack to deliver superior performance and efficiency.

The Q-DRIVE powertrain enables two incredible driving modes designed specifically for your exact performance needs in the moment. All-Electric Stealth Mode enables you to drive in style and comfort with sustainable electric energy. Lithium-ion power drives dual eletric motors for acceleration at 0-60 in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 95 mph.

Performance Hybrid Sport Mode harnesses both energy sources for added power and control. With 403 HP, acceleration of 0-60 in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph, Sport Mode delivers fully charged performance and exhilaration.

Underpinning the overall form is the lightweight aluminum spaceframe - the foundation of the Karma’s sporty low, wide stance. The extruded aluminum spaceframe and tight sport-tuned suspension contain the Karma for optimized control and firm handling at high speeds. The Karma’s striking proportions measure over 196.7 inches long, 52.4 inches high, and 78.1 inches wide, delivering aerodynamic dimensions for uninhibited driving alive with passion. For added maneuverability, hydraulically power-assisted and rack and pinion tuned steering deliver optimum control for added driver precision. Load-leveling rear shocks and mono-tube absorbers are tuned to control the level of roll dampening so the Karma achieves flat cornering with little body roll. The thrill of hard, fast travel shines with custom Fisker designed 22 inch wheels, designed for road gripping high performance driving.

The Karma’s innovative transmission further complements the uninhibited thrills of pure driving. The single speed gear box delivers the power of instantaneous acceleration without ever using a clutch.
