I thought it would have been Harry.

Roy isn't a bad coach. Actually has international experience i think its the best choice as of right now. 'Arry has shown he's not the most tactically sophisticated coach i think its a good move. Too bad though England goes from Capello to Roy..

Harry is a great, great premier league manager, however, he will tell you himself, one of his main strengths is that he knows who to buy, at what price and how to build a team. In a interview many moons ago he stated I'm not a particularly intelligent guy but ask me what the Bury right back is like and I can tell you straight away.
I think he would struggle with the England team due to the fact he cannot bring in any of his own players. Even with all that in mind, I'd still like him to be the England manager!
Would you want that job though?
No chance at the Euros, squad has no identity, style of play, consistency whatsoever.
No chance at '14 World Cup, that has South American team written all over it.
Euro '16, maybe.
Qatar '18, as if any English players will be able to cope playing in that climate!
Can't say I'd be jumping at the chance...
