355 majors are 3 years / 30k. They run $5-6k at a dealer, $3-4k at an independent, unless you're getting screwed. Most of the horror stories of 8+k majors included discovering a good deal of "other stuff" that needed to be fixed in addition to the normal major service.
The parts cost around ~$1,500 and the allowed job time per Ferrari is 22 hours.
The cars are fairly reliable, not just by Ferrari standards, so long as they are well cared for and driven often. Pay more for a well maintained car with a full service history-- it'll pay dividends very quickly over a "deal" car. |
