Smile GT2 and GT2 RS

Does anyone know the exact differences in the GT2 and GT2 RS engines to get 90 horses. Is it possible to get the same horsepower from my 2008 GT2 without spending another approximately $266,000 for the RS. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure of any upgrades to transform your car...

The differences.
front fender flares
new splitter
wider track
carbon hood
new rear wing
new rear fascia
more power
faster
better shifts
stiffer suspension
more extensive weight loss
removal of almost all interior sound proofing
standard center locks
new mirrors
slightly different interior
carbon side intakes

Overall a more dynamic faster more track prepped 911 GT2.

You can find all of the changes here.

would not surprise me if it was intake, exhaust, and an ecu.

any of the tuners that are on the forum could give you a more accurate answer. PM any of them, they all seem very knowledgeable.

Dude, an ECU flash is 50 already. Silicon boost hoses, larger intercoolers, race exhaust with some headers, and you are past their 620. That would run about $15k. For another $15k, you can get bigger turbo's that will take it to around 750. My numbers are general figures, but you can easily mod a GT2. I also bet we will be able to mod the new car. Mk 2 has all that carbon, carbon fenders, etc.

We could make the change with tuning and intercoolers. Hey and you are not too far away either! We just had a 997 GT2 in getting the same treatment.

Let me know if you are interested.

Fix him up. It's such a big jump from 530 to over 600. Major difference.

Takes a pretty fast car and turns it into a complete monster that can run with 640's, Scuds, and just about anything. Actually faster.

For 620 Porsche hp you will need bigger VTGs, the stock ones are right at their limits at this level. The RS has bigger VTGs, more efficient intercoolers and possibly different cats, all reprogrammed to give an artificially low maximum torque but a 7.18 "Ring ready" 620PS - Cargraphic can offer you the same level hp in their stage 3 GT2 kit.

Edit, oh ant the RS has lightweight flywheel which doesn't add hp just makes engine rev more easily
