996_GT2 is an unknown quantity at this point
2008 > 2009 Gallardo Conversion?

Would it be possible to swap the front end and rear end body panels as well as the headlight/taillights to make a 2008 Gallardo Look like a 2009 Gallardo? Or is the body structure different?

I don't know, if you can change headlights, but front end and rear end body panels can be changed:

I'd just do the front bumper, easy swap. Lights require a lot more.
Rear, no idea but ^ it's possible I guess.

i like the older rear more. the front definitely is an improvement on the LP560.

HRC sells a LP560 replica bumper that fits 04-08 G's. I heard nothing but good reviews of that product.

I also prefer the older rear, it looks wayyy more aggressive. The Italians have never managed to do a proper facelift of any car's rear - just look at the Maserati 3200 when they changed out those awesome boomerang tail lights for the boring squared ones.

LP560 front is a must though.

ad Maserati 3200 - I heard, they had to change them, because of american law... American law didn't accept the "boomerangs"
