10.8 Mountain Lion

It's out today, has anyone downloaded it yet? I'll be installing later this evening for sure!

Will install it on my girlfriends MBA so I can use the airplay feature, which is worth the $20 alone.

But not worth the upgrade on my laptop. And the UI is failing badly, it needs a major re-think.

Just got it up and going. Safari feels cleaner and quicker but haven't really had a chance to play with much else. I'm all about the new airplay mirroring though.

I got a connection error the first time. Tried 10 seconds later and was good to go. Only took about 10 minutes to install once downloaded on my new retina MBP. Not bad. I'm really liking the notification centre, and there are lots of small changes to apps and programs as well I've been noticing in the past hour.

Oh, and I'm loving that I can use the 'Messages' app to send iMessages to friends iPhones. Will save a bunch of time in the long run instead of having to type all the time on a bloody iPhone keyboard when I'm at home.

I've learned to wait about a month so any bugs can be worked out and customers feedback can be channeled back to Apple. They do a good job listening to their customers that have decent knowledge. Nothing I do today will be impacted that much either way.
