Complication to modifying suspension/lowering on PDCC equipped cars?

I've read through the mountain of opinions on whether or not the PDCC is worth the money. It's functionality and performance is not what concerns me, but rather I can get the car a bit lower. I realize there is the PASM/PDCC combination which lowers it 20mm, but that doesn't interest me either. I know PDCC has only been on the more recent production cars, and none on the 911/Cayman/Boxster so opinion could be limited. Any insights/advice is appreciated, thanks.

Somewhat found my answer on 6speed. Simple answer would be yes it would be complicated(potential warranty issues too), for those interested.
