Exclamation Breaking News: The Ferrari 458 Italia Spider will feature a folding hardtop

Rendering - 458 Italia Spider, teamspeed.com

Straight from our sources in Maranello comes this information on the upcoming 458 spider.
Power will remain the
570 hp 4.5 liter V8 as found in the coupe. The top will feature similar
mechanisms as found in the California. Call your dealer now and beg for a spot.
Thanks for tip "friend"!

My guess is, it's going to b one big piece that sits vertically in a slot between the passenger compartment and engine bay.

If they manage to keep the weight farily similar as the coupe and the design as in the picture this will be a certain winner. What an incredibly useable car!!!
Great news

oh no, no good news in my opinion, i hate hardtops and don´t know why they make that, the spider should stay as sporty as the coupe!
