‘Top Gear’ Boys Break Out P1, 918, and LaFerrari for Amazon Filming
Football, pumpkin beer, sweatshirt weather, and the Top Gear boys back to filming. Ain’t fall great?
Okay, okay, you’re right, they’re not technically the Top Gear boys anymore. That’s why this photo was so wonderful to see. With a single tweet, Jeremy Clarkson announced that the he, Richard Hammond, and James May had officially started filming their new Amazon Prime automotive show.

Being Clarkson, Hammond, and May, they couldn’t just come back with a simple first episode, no sir. They’re returning with a massive blowout with three of the best cars on the planet: the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder, and the McLaren P1. Surely not coincidentally (it’s rare for these three cars to be on a track together), fellow A+ auto reviewer and entertainer Chris Harris also tweeted a photo with the same three supercars, at the same location, the same day
Agree with @JeremyClarkson that the dawn is beautiful there, but the sunset is pretty spectacular too…. pic.twitter.com/JkcU0XpKcp — chris harris (@harrismonkey) October 7, 2015
He was all jolly until he saw the Clarkson tweet. To which he responded:
@JeremyClarkson Fuck this. I’m retiring. Beaten.

And of course, the rest of the world-class film-makers from /Drive took notice:
@harrismonkey @JeremyClarkson yup. Fuck this. Going to go flip burgers. — J.F. Musial (@jfmusial) October 7, 2015
LOL:
@harrismonkey @JeremyClarkson Fuck this. What was the question?

At the end of the day, this is all supremely excellent news. Clarkson, May, Hammond, Harris, and /Drive all working with the supercars of our dreams. Season 1 can’t get here soon enough.
