Ok, think of it this way…
One rotation of the earth takes 24 hours
For the moon to rotate around the earth it take about 29 days (say 696 hours)
For both to go around the sun takes a year (365 days = 8,766 hours)

Now say we live on opposite sides of the earth (12 hour difference in time) and its night at my end… as the 12 hours pass (50% of the day) and it becomes night at your end the relative change by the moon is only 1.7% and to the sun is 0.14%
So in any given day we are practically looking at the same phase of the Moon due to negligible change it underwent in 12 hours



But ok… I will look for your thread and post a photo if that will help

i love not wearing certain watches for a while, they feel brand new to you once put on again
