It has been a while since I've last worn this, got it back in 2004 or 2005.
Omega Speedmaster (Schumacher The Legend) limited edition out of 6,000 pieces, mine is no 793.

The price is pretty similar to the GP, I dont mind paying for something that I like. The GP is too bulky, didnt like the strap nor the dial, would favour a Alinghi over it.
The RO skeleton is basically a Royal Oak but with a skeleton dial ie see through, it is classy and sort of a dress/sport watch. I'm eyeing on one in a year or so.

i LOVE the alinghi but the hands don't do it for me, AND the arabic numerals make it a not-so-different move dial-wise from the panda (that is why i was eager to see the newer case black ROO). besides, i know nothing about yachting
moreover, my dress code is the same for work as well as for leisure so the GP would fit me 7 days of the week - as i believe i can pull it off as well with the formal dress for dowaween given my build
in regards the strap, yes, i concede to the fact that it's not for everyone but you know red is a must in all my watches while and since the motif is enough, i am sure i can find me a more toned down strap to fit later if need be
as for why i am being an advocate for all things grand prix, it's because i now found another deal in kuwait for a brand new one working on pricing, hoping to get a word tomorrow. then i will work my contacts at the boutique to see what they can cut me.
unfortunately i will definitely sell/trade in the panda which is kinda sad given my story with it BUT i tell myself, if all goes through, i am moving on to bigger & better things AND in the future a panda will be a lot easier to find than a GP - especially locally otherwise, it will not make financial sense to be honest given that i will have to add pampers and cerelac to my shopping list soon INSHALLAH ya rab.
