Wearing the Carrera today, and I swapped the OEM Tag rubber deployant strap for a Hirsch Grand duke calf skin leather strap.
Leather is a bit stiff, so I'm going to be wearing it a lot (& very tight) in an effort to soften it up. Happy with the quality @80 bucks compared to $500 for a similar OEM strap.

What do you guys think?

Adam, that's a great looking Tag and the strap fits the watch perfectly.

That strap matches your watch perfectly! I have a Hirsch strap for my combat and I think it is high quality. Nice watch, Tag makes the best tachymetre/chronos. If i had that on I would feel the need to race and time myself constantly. And the TAG Mikrotimers are INSANE as well...

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
I just acquired this in a trade for my Chopard; it is a Breitling Chrono Avenger in Titanium. I know that the other guy got the better deal, but I have been missing my Seawolf Avenger since it was stolen in a bungled watch sale, and I had to fork over >$2k... Anyway, I love this watch, and have wanted it for some time. And it will fit me well at 44mm and almost as thick as my DeepSea.

Looks good can you send me a link to that strap place? I've got a Tag Carrera I've worn 1 time in 8 years because I don't like the strap.
