5,500 NT (188.87 USD) without any alcohol, outrageous by any local standard, considering a first year college grad only makes 22,000 NT.

Would definitely go back there again though.

It was a damn fine meal, but 5,500 NT is for two.

I am pretty sure my brother who lives in Taipei would refuse to go if a place was charging 10,000 NT for two even if I was paying for it. Imagine spending 2K USD for a meal in the U.S., a lot of people would not be able to stomach it even if they didn't have to pay for it.

Looks amazing, I bet the food was as well.

Are you Taiwanese by any chance? because Taipei and Taiwan in general is not very accessible if you don't speak Chinese. It is most definitely not like HK or Singapore or Bangkok.
