A small Threat Assessment will follow..... I can't belive it.....
The CIA - NTCT warned the Mossos.
US government organisation - the National Counterterrorism Center - which includes the CIA and FBI, sent the warning to Spain's official intelligence agency the CNI as well as the Catalan regional Mossos d'Esquadra force on May 25.
The memo from the American intelligence service was predicting a massacre, but 12 weeks later, 14 were killed when a jihadist drove a van through crowds of both locals and tourists.
From the memo: "This information is provided for intelligence purposes in an effort to develop potential investigative leads. It may not be used in any way that will expose or jeopardise intelligence sources or methods. It cannot be used in connection with any foreign or domestic court proceedings or for any other legal judicial or administrative purposes. Unsubstantiated information of unknown veracity from late May 2017 indicated that the Islamic State of Irak and ash-Sham (ISIS) is planning to conduct unspecified terrorist attacks during the summer against crowded tourist sites in Barcelona, Spain, specifically La Rambla Street."

Catalans are very very special people and most are not especially friendly if you are not Catalan. And the anti-tourism wave this summer has not exactly helped...
The anti-tourism fanatics attacked a tour bus at Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium in which passengers, many of then with young children, believed they were being attacked by terrorists. What F?? Where would these dagos be without all the money from the tourists....
Now the are fighting in BARCELONA.... but for nothing. They will have to come to terms with the reality ....... they are Spanish. Catalonia is a part of Spain and it will remain like that. When you live in a country, you will have to follow the law. Catalan separatist movement will loose....
The survey commissioned by the Catalan government in July suggested that 41% of voters backed independence while 49% were opposed.

• Passport – Also memorize your passport number
• Travel Insurance Information
• Hotel Reservations
• Airline Reservations
• Family Emergency Phone Numbers
• U.S. Embassy Address and Phone Number
• Carry the flash drive on you at all times in case the paper documents are ever lost or stolen.
3) In a secure wallet, carry your money and credit cards. Do not carry a travel wallet around your neck or purse as criminals can easily cut or yank them off. Instead, carry a wallet inside your pants or secured to your leg.
4) Don't discuss your travel plans on an airplane, cruise ship or anywhere where people can overhear anything you say.
5) When checking into a hotel, ask for two keys, even if you are alone. Potential criminals watching you check in will assume there is more than one person staying in the room making you a less attractive target. Additionally, request a room above the third floor of the hotel. Criminals will usually break into rooms on the lower floors of a hotel.

Sophisticated disinformation and fake news!
In my professional opinion the Spanish Policia and Guardia Civil were the victims of a sophisticated disinformation and fake news campaign by the pro-independence camp. What else were they supposed to do in order to to follow their orders and stop trouble makers.
When I saw some Catalans showing up with small children on the shoulders.... I lost my last sympathy. What on earth were they thinking of, bringing children to a demonstration like this. The only thing they accomplish is to learn the children to show hate from an early age. And that is not acceptable.
I think that the catalans have underestimated the Spanish. Almost a millon people, the silent majority that opposes independence, showed up last Sunday in a pro-peace demonstration. That was a real demonstration of who has the real power. Because they feel both Catalan and Spanish.

Cannes Filmfestival - 2018

Looking forward to this years Festival de Cannes. It will start one day earlier than normally - running from Tuesday 08.05.18 to Saturday 19.05.18. Bringing forward the announcement of awards by one day, to Saturday evening, will increase its prestige, while at the same time giving the closing film better exposure.

The 29-year-old Austrian bodybuilder descended on the Croisette promoting - Arnold suddenly became the subject of every conversation at the festival."
The relationship Arnold Schwarzenegger began with Cannes in 1977 with Pumping Iron was made in promotional heaven. It was as if the festival was waiting for someone like the 29-year-old Austrian, who bought a new beige linen suit for the occasion, to take advantage of a hype machine 30 years in the making. This was not someone who was shy about over-the-top press events. Through the decades, Schwarzenegger would return with much bigger, well-financed occasions for splash, with everything from 1993’s Last Action Hero (which wasn’t in the fest, or even finished, but dominated the landscape with a 40-foot inflatable balloon of the star) to 2014’s The Expendables 3 (he and the cast rolled into town on two tanks).
But that first year, the bodybuilder was just a shirtless guy with big muscles doing pec jiggles on the beach for a dozen dancers from the Crazy Horse nightclub to promote George Butler’s $190,000 documentary about weightlifters. “There must have been 50,000 people there watching,” recalls Butler, who estimates the film has grossed $50 million worldwide. “Arnold suddenly became the subject of every conversation at the festival.” (It capped a wave of Arnie-mania that included a Jackie O-hosted lunch in Manhattan and a portrait by Jamie Wyeth.) Schwarzenegger also did interviews with French TV while kissing an unnamed blond woman in a gold lamé bikini who accompanied him around town.

I was born close to Barcelona and I had travelled almost around the world and meet people all over too.
We are not racist and our problem with the tourism is only on one type we have too much traditions around alcohol drinks in Spain as could be Cava or wine knows around the world and preserved brands. That makes alcohol so cheap in Spain also,in Spain principally in Balearic islands and Catalonia we have awesome parties. that had attracted a bad type of tourism. disrespectful people drinking and having sex on the streets throwing bottles, making noise and disturbing everyone while drinking and behaving like idiots. We don't like that type of tourism. We have so much culture to offer, awesome quite beaches and cool clean parties.
We had enjoyed a heavy crisis after 2007 and the PP on the government didn't help at all. I'm working on a big company as a New business developer for only 21.000€/year no tax included and that's quite a good earnings on this days. We dont have the inmensly low taxes you have in Monaco so nothing attracts rich people to evade taxes from their countries to Spain, we only have the sun.
I'm not an "independentista" but I think not giving the opportunity to vote was a mistake from Spain and to punch people is not legal, as simply as that.
I love my conutry, I hate bad tourism and I'm as respectful as I can when I travel all over the world to the people I find on the way. We only want respect from the tourists.
