10 year wedding anniversary is in early June. It kinda snuck up on me, and I haven't booked anything yet.

Need some recommendations, please.

We are beach bums, so a tropical island/beach setting is needed. We will only be able to go for about 5 days total including travel time, so I think that eliminates Tahiti/Bora Bora/south pacific.

We will be flying out of Los Angeles (LAX). Wifey has mentioned going back to Anguilla as we honeymooned there, but air travel is 3 stops each way. That would eat up a lot of precious time.

I was thinking about the Ritz Carlton in Cancun, but wifey says Mexico doesn't feel all that special to her. I think she sees spring break in her mind there instead of romantic beach setting.

I'm not all that familiar with Hawaii.

Any recommendations?

I would love to recommend Bora Bora/Tahiti but i've never done it myself. Go to St. Barths if you've never been. It's incredible.

If you're considering Hawaii then definitely think about Kauai. Princeville is a beautiful town very close to the isolated beaches. Secret beach is a favorite of mine.

Thanks guys. My wife is 3 days younger than me.

Anybody been to the Grand Wailea? A few reviews said it's getting a little dated.

Congrats on 10 years!

There are a few thread here on Maui of which a lot of us contributed, see if those are helpful. We really enjoyed our time there.
