Anyone dined at Mastro's Ocean Club Restaurant?
 

Headed to the one in Scottsdale this weekend...Any recommendations? I'm not a huge seafood lover, so I will most likely order a steak :smilie:

Dined plenty of times at the one in Newport Coast, CA...it's ok...the scene is pretty cool and the steaks are good...not a fan of the seafood...

OMG...seriously one of the best meals I've ever had at the Scottsdale Mastros. I know you said you didn't like seafood, but you must try the appetizer sampler...absolutely amazing. Oh, and watch out for cougars!

I have. It was very good. Good scenery too. Make sure to get the Lobster Mashed Potatos. :respekt:

been to the one in NB and Scottsdale....good food! I'm w/ Luis....the Lobster Mash are a MUST!

The food and the experience were top notch. I would highly recommend! Didn't do the lobster mash, but the butter cake was great!

My first post here! I didn't really enjoy the seafood as much as I thought I would have. I ordered the salmon which was $27 and had it grilled and it came with 3 dipping sauces to compliment. I have dined at the south coast plaza location with a steak and would go back for sure. I haven't tried the steaks at the ocean club though. I wonder if they are on par with the steakhouse. Anybody?

Steak was great. Exactly the same as the steakhouse!

Only been to newport location...spectacular scenery, but the seafood disapoints. Steak is not quite as good as "regular" mastros.
