Business Travellers: Hotel of choice?

This is not intended to be a who's the biggest baller thread, just wanted to gauge what most of you guys do for traveling?

Do you stick to a certain chain of hotels?

For quick business trips, I've used Hilton hotels, but am growing more and more disenfranchised, looking to try a different group within reason, don't like billing my clients for nights at the W. With Hilton, it just seems that in areas outside of huge cities, the hotels are not that great.

Any experiences from Marriott or other hotel chains?

I've stayed at Hyatt and Hilton before...

I like the Hyatt, there breakfast was awesome; plenty of scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, orange juice, and coffee.

I thought this was going to be a buddyg turn your contact info over thread.

my contribution: If I even make it back to the hotel when Im on vacay, Im more than impressed with myself.

Sofitel is pretty nice.

I think in general....business or pleasure...it is impossible to beat Shangri-la chain hotels for service, food, etc etc etc... just unreal...though you pay for it

For all of us regular folks... that don't spend every business trip in Chicago or San Fran... I like to find a nice Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. I find those are easier to locate in Muskogee, Oklahoma than the nearest Shangri La.

I have always been a fan of Hyatt. Not the BEST Hotels but certainly very nice...nice enough for me!

Always Fairmont if there is one where I am going...including vacations.

Yup. I'm with you there. It really depends on where you are though. For me, I travel to big cities mostly so I always go for starwood properties. If I am in a town that doesnt host any SPG properties I go for Hilton. I am starwood platinum currently and have been Hilton diamond in the past. I like the perks of SPG best though.
