Member Car of the Month November 2012 - Brett@LamborghiniMiami 10 Attachment(s) Attachment 116289 Member Car of the Month November 2012 Brett David from Lamborghini Miami's AU79 Aventador If Gert Fröbe had a time machine back in 1964 when he was cast as Auric Goldfinger in the Bond film that shares the same name, you could bet good money on the fact that he'd visit 2012 and snatch up our member car of the month for November. James Bond's iconic Aston Martin DB5 wouldn't stand a chance if Goldfinger had the AU79 Aventador as his get-away car. As we have reported this summer, the AU79 wowed the crowds when it was unveiled at Prestige imports monthly Exotics and Espresso event this past June, the gathering for car lovers who enjoy meeting new people that have one major thing in common, exotic cars. Brett tells us the inspiration for the AU79 project came from one of the most valued element in the market today, gold. Taking the name AU79 from the periodic table name for gold was an uncompromising fit. As the two combine, you have a true piece of performing art which becomes a harmonic synergy, gold and Lamborghini's. With a powerful V12 engine the Lamborghini Aventador reaches speeds of 217 mph, given the subsequent advent of the 700 horse powers. The exaggerated lines alone give the car style that Lamborghini is known for, the gold adds a majestic allure that has eyes gravitating to the radiance of this exquisite automobile. For an average car to be wrapped it normally takes 20 to 30 hours however this is clearly not average, the gold you see is a special foil exclusively designed for Prestige Imports. Between the vehicle dis-assembly and the final reassembly this vehicle was transformed from white to the now AU79 which took 70 lucrative days. AU79 was meticulously completed by the team at Auto SuperSheild in Boca Raton , FL. It may seem out of the ordinary to dub a sponsor the member car of the month honor, but as we all know, Brett David is first and foremost a member, a friend, and a car nut just like the rest of us here on the Team. Anyone that knows Brett personally, and there are many here on this forum that do, will agree that he is one of the best things to happen to the exotic car market in Florida, always hosting wonderful events, donating his time and money to local charities, and of course being an awesome teamspeed member. So without further adieu please enjoy these wonderful photos from our friends David Knickerson from Nu Vue photography, Benjamin Edelstein from Caspmedia, and the man many know simply as "The Beard", William Stern. Congrats! Lovely LP700! |
Wild looking car with a very crazy cool wrap. Congrats. |
Very flattering pictures! The intakes make for a timely break in the flashiness. And a nicely modest interior! I'm a fan. |
