Powered by a direct-injected, 562-hp 4.5-liter V-8, the Ferrari 458 Spider is one sexy bit of kit, (imagine that spoken in my best Jeremy Clarkson voice) and as we say goodbye to the summer here in the states, I am going to get a little nostalgic for al-fresco motoring with our selection for October car of the month here on the Team.

Perfectly polished and photographed by our friend Albert Roxas, Peter's (aka member Swordsman) stunning 458 spider fits right at home here on the Team, and as nice as the car may be, the man who drives it is even nicer. Many of you know Swordsman if you follow the watch sections below, always sharing his never-ending perfect taste in time-pieces, but who can ignore his impeccable taste in exotic autos as well? Not me.

Just a quick note - this car is actually lowered on Novitec Springs and also has Novitec Spacers courtesy of RStrada. All 458's come off the factory line like a 4x4 (most noticeable in the shot below, incidentally Swordsman's first 458, one of the first 458's delivered in the US over 2 years ago)
