Brand new Sig P226 MK25! Didn't have time to fire it today, I hope to get out to the range tomorrow...

I wonder .. considerin' the technology packed into our phones nowadays .. and the mega pixels packed into the point & shoot portion, what can be done to eliminate the "sorry for the crappy (insert brand here) phone pic"?

Whats involved in getting a pistol in NY?

Weight and bore axis.

I like Sigs though.

Evidently to exercise your constitutionally protected rights in New York, you must first receive permission from the king via a pistol permit. Any gun dealer or local gun forum should be able to explain it in detail.
