FS: Sig Sauer 556 SWAT Hope this is okay to post for sale. Prefer to sell locally, but figure one of you yahoos may want to pick up a premium rifle. Obviously, if you're not in Arizona, this would be an FFL to FFL sale ONLY. Up for sale is this Sig556 SWAT with folding stock, quad Picatinny rail and forward vertical grip/flashlight. Includes hardcase, gun lock, one Sig Sauer 30 round magazine. Has about 200 rounds thru it. Add on's include Magpul UBR Mil-spec Grippod (not that cheap Chinese knock off crap) KNS Precision takedown pin Griffin-Tactical charging handle LaRue Tactical LT-100 optics mount Trijicon TA31DOC ACOG 4x32 BAC illuminated Crosshair scope with Docter Red Dot and TA51 mount. The LaRue mount and scope have NEVER been used, only mounted. Have the hardcase and tools for the scope as well. Add on's can be removed and replaced with stock parts and then sold separately. $1500 + FFL fees/shipping for the rifle, takedown pin, and charging handle. Add on's are extra and could work out a number if someone wanted to buy all of it. Otherwise, I'll part it out and sell the extra bits separately. Stock form http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...G/DSCN0704.jpg All the bells and whistles http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q.../magpul006.jpg |

Great deal for all that hardware! |
hmmm...not interested in an STI Int. Tactical 5.0 pistol by chance are you? The value is pretty similar and I have been looking to get something a little longer range than what I currently have... http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w...00624-1230.jpg gun is on the upper left of the handguns. Has nightsights as well as a sweet trigger job by sti. |
Very nicely done. Stuck so that the forum has ample opportunity. |
2 stickies now! GLWS x 2 ! |
Interested in the 556 Bonehead, My buddy forwarded your posting. I am in Vegas and collect Sigs. In 556's, I own an ER and DMR. Send me a message if it is still available. Tim |
Crap didn't see this response until now. Sig is still available. |

I see these are older posts... is this still for sale? What are you going to do when the zombie apocalypse occurs and you're without your Sig? :) Seriously, is it still for sale? |

I personally don't believe a semi auto rifle is the best defense in a zombie onslaught anyway. I will always have my Mossy 590A1, assortment of slugs and double naught shot to take out a few undead at one time and my HK45c for close quarters. |

Sorry, Scott. Forgot to update. This was sold a while ago. I personally don't believe a semi auto rifle is the best defense in a zombie onslaught anyway. I will always have my Mossy 590A1, assortment of slugs and double naught shot to take out a few undead at one time and my HK45c for close quarters. Glad you sold it. A new 556 SWAT is now $900 at some places! Sig has been dropping the prices on them lately. I will still end up with a 516, but I've just bought a 2nd house, and until I'm back to one mortgage, I won't be buying anything expensive for a while. |
$900?? Yikes. I of course bought it at the peak. Been making a steady decline in price ever since. Good thing my buyer didn't see any of those $900 deals:) |
I think the $900 deals just started this week... literally. I almost got one as a result, but still really like the 516. Was your 556 pretty reliable? Did you like it? |

Reliable, accurate. Main complaint was weight. Way too heavy to lug around a post-nuclear wasteland defending against zombies.:) The picatinny rail added a tremendous amount of weight to the barrel side. But if you're hunkered down on a rooftop or in a ditch and slap it on a tripod, I can't think of much else I'd rather have. Since I'm not a wuss, the weight is probably fine. I will stick to the 516 but that $300 price difference makes it a tough call. My current Katrina-like society breakdown or meteor impact zombie apocalypse rifle is a lever action 30-30. I feel like http://www.tvparty.com/bgifs18/rifleman-header.jpg But lack capacity of 30 rounds! |
^^not sure if you're posting those for sale or asking for a trade. But I sold the Sig a year ago to a local in AZ. |
^oops, fixed, dunno how that happened |
Someone please UN-sticky this. I keep getting excited for no reason, every time I visit this sub-forum. |
