Very cool read, and nice photos! I remember seeing a show on these guys once on Discovery; one of them held the dubious distinction of surviving the longest fall known. His unit had parachuted out of a fixed-wing in an exercise, and one of his mates hit his canopy, causing it to collapse, and he fell severeal hundred meters to the ground, like a rock. He impacted at nearly 200 kph, but amazingly survived, although with several dozen fractures and all messed up. Made a full recovery, and went back to being a para. Toughest man alive :)

Wow, very cool insight into the life of one of these guys.

Not enough can be said about these guys to be sure!

The article is also cool in that what it does is highlight some very under the radar high speed low drag types, it also is great because it shows the differences between special operations units. The bigger point is that the people doing the job, or close to the job don't sit around and talk about who the best special operations unit is. They all have their missions, and they do it mystically well.

Vpr, if you want to do it, commit to it and get your ass in gear! They're not going to come to you.
