What happened?

What am I missing.

I know people are stocking up and less common ammo is hard to find,
But 9mm Luger rounds?

Yeah, even Wal Mart has been out. The one near me is out of everything but shotgun rounds. I was in NC over the weekend and managed to buy my limit of .40 and .45, but they were out of 9mm there too.

Ya, I've tried locally.

Cabelas no.
Walmart no.
Small shops no.

So, I thought no biggy, I'll just get some online.

Yeah, just browse all kinds of calibre on Cabelas, almost everything is out of stock. very limited supplies. Local gun shows you see people dragging little shopping carts full of ammo behind them.

That has been the case since Mr Hopey Changey was elected.

I guess there are too many bitter people clinging to their guns and religion.

Any ideas on the timeframe of the supply shortage? What calibers (if any) are readily available currently?

9mm and .45 were the first I saw that were hard to get the less popular a more available, such as 10mm, 357SIG.

I have 3000 rds at home. Afraid to use them.

Same here. I have a few thousand 9, 308, and 556 that I am afraid to shoot.
