I love Nighthawks. I have the Talon 5", GRP recon and the T3 for CCW. They are excellent. So is the Wilson CQB.

Long live the 1911.

I've got a Kimber Eclipse Target 2. Love the finish on this thing.

Beautiful Rob!
Let us know how it shoots (I'm sure it will be outstanding)! I love 1911s. Right now I'm torn between a mint 1917 M1911 and another Nighthawk. The NHC that's calling is the Heinie Ladyhawk. I'm going to order it in 9mm with a Bobtail...should be a sweet shootin' lady. I think I must have the M1911 first though. I costs double the NHC but's in damn near perfect condition.

Doc, yea I saw you torn on the other site. I'd agree with you on getting the mint 1917 right now - definitely a family hand me down. The Ladyhawk w/ Bobtail looks like a very tasty treat. Are you planning to go the diamond coat finish w/ all the bells and whistles? I personally think that will be the ultimate concealed carry piece. Please post pics of the 1917 when you pick it up!

As sunset said, "LONG LIVE THE 1911!"
