Pagani Zonda Revolucion Sets 6:30 Nurburgring Nordschleife Lap Time

The Pagani Zonda Revolucion has just set an astonishing 6 minute and 30 second (unofficial) lap time at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, reducing in almost 18 seconds off his previous record of 6:47.50 achieved in June 2010 with the Zonda R.

The news was revealed in different social media quickly become viral, but still no an official statement from Pagani Automobili regarding the impressive lap.

The Zonda Revolucion has carbon-titanium chassis, the gearbox has improved, the Brembo brakes are 15% lighter than those used in the Zonda R.

The 6.0 liter V12 engine signed by Mercedes-AMG develops 800 hp and 730 Nm of torque.

Compared with the Zonda R, the Zonda Revolution is also equipped with new aerodynamic components, but without doubt the most important aerodynamic novelty is the DRS (Drag Reduction System) system based on those used by Formula 1 cars.

One can only hope that the rumor was dispelled by an official confirmation soon, and if there is a video, much better...
