It's called swelling, it heals. I rather doubt he minds considering what a few inches in a given direction could have done. |
Once the swelling goes down, he will probably look more or less like he used to. Edit: Dammit, Simba beat me to it. |
After the accident he had, not only would I be grateful to still be above ground but I would be damned fortunate to look a fraction as healthy. |
